Redlino

Redlino ( German Redlin ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship. It belongs to the municipality Białogard ( Belgard ) in the powiat Białogardzki.

Geographical location

Redlino located five kilometers north-west of Białogard and two kilometers southeast of Karlino ( Körlin ) in the province road 163 Kolobrzeg ( Kolberg) - Wałcz on the flood plain of the Persante. Not far from the city's main road 6 ( = European route 28) runs from Szczecin to Gdansk.

History

Already in 1484 Redlin is first mentioned as the owner of a farm in a document relating the name Bonin. Since 1695 the name Molzahn and since 1726 the family Hardt has been demonstrated. All three families were established in 1945 Redlin.

In 1856 the town had 404 inhabitants in 42 houses, 1 school house, 1 poorhouse and 79 outbuildings. 1939 lived 383 citizens in the village, whose municipal area comprised 1349.2 hectares. The vast majority of the population lived from agriculture. The income could be low market in the cities and Belgard Körlin.

Redlin formed until 1945 with Old Lülfitz, New Lülfitz and Rostin the District Lülfitz district Belgard ( Persante ). Civil ceremony belonged to the place after Roggow. The local court was in Belgard. Last mayor before 1945 was Erich Knop.

In the first days of March, Redlin was occupied by troops of the Red Army. End of 1945, the expulsion of the native population began. Redlin came as Redlino to Poland and is now a district of the rural community Białogard.

Church

Redlin belonged until 1945 to the parish Körlin, which had been assigned to the church Belgard on 1 April 1931. He was part of the ecclesiastical province of Pomerania in the Evangelical Church of the Old Prussian Union.

Today Redlino belongs to Parafia Koszalin ( Koszalin ) in the Diocese of Pomerania - Greater Poland the Polish Evangelical-Augsburg Church.

School

Already in 1856 there was a school in Redlin.
