The Reggiane Re.2003 was an Italian project of Reggiane for a new generation of fighter reconnaissance.
History
The Reggiane Re.2003 was a two-seat design of the Re.2000. For the first prototypes built a machine from an originally planned for Hungary and Sweden contract section was used. This was extended to make room for an observer who sat behind the pilot under the long -drawn transparent pulpit. First flight was depending on the source. A second machine was rebuilt from a Re.2002 on 29 June 1941. Their first flight was on 13 October 1942. Were ordered 200 pieces, which were canceled in 1942 but yet again.
The fuel capacity was 674 liters. For the armed reconnaissance and the ability for ground attack should be provided. For this purpose bomb suspensions were provided.
