Rehlingen-Siersburg
Rehlingen- Siersburg is a municipality in the district of Saarlouis (Saarland ), with approximately 16,000 inhabitants in ten districts. It was created in 1974 as part of the administrative and territorial reform of the formerly independent municipality Rehlinger and the nine municipalities of the administrative district Siersburg.

Geography
Location
Rehlinger located on the Saar, Siersburg is located on the Nied, the remaining districts are located partly on the Gau ( Saargau ), partly in the valley of the Nied, a left-side tributary of the Saar. In the West Rehlingen- Siersburg borders France, in the north of the county Merzig- Wadern, in the south on the community of Waller endeavor.

History
On January 1, 1974, the municipalities Biringen, Eimersdorf, Fremersdorf, Fürweiler, Gerlfangen, Hemmersdorf, Niedaltdorf Oberesch, Rehlinger and Siersburg were merged to form a new congregation. This first received the name Rehlinger. Later it was renamed in Rehlinger -Siersburg.

On 23 September 2008, the church received the title conferred by the federal government " place of diversity ."
