Renata Ribeiro
Renata Trevisan Ribeiro Martins ( born December 7, 1981 in Rio de Janeiro) is a Brazilian beach volleyball player.
Career
Ribeiro began her athletic career in 1993 while playing volleyball. In the hall they played for teams from Rio de Janeiro, Botafogo, Fluminense and Flamengo. In 2001 and 2002 she played beach volleyball player as their first tournaments of the FIVB World Tour. In 2003, she formed a duo with Shaylyn Bede. At the World Championships in Rio Ribeiro / Shaylyn won without dropping their first round group. Then they sat through two national duels before the eventual world champions Walsh / May from the United States was defeated in the quarter-finals and the fifth occupied. In 2004, she reached the final of the Milan Open and some other top - ten finishes.
2005 Ribeiro made a new duo with Talita Antunes da Rocha. Ribeiro / Talita achieved in the first year together at the World Tour finals in the Saint Petersburg and Montreal and won the tournaments in Athens and Bali. 2009 played with Vanilda Ribeiro dos Santos Leão. At the Grand Slam in Moscow Ribeiro / Leão were in the final. They also reached on the World Tour and a third plurality of fifth places. 2011 Ribeiro returned with reading Lima to the World Series, but did not on the 17th rank out. The following year she appeared with Elize Maia only at the Brasília Open.

Ribeiro is married to the martial arts athletes Mauricio Rua.
