Kerri Walsh Jennings

Kerri Lee Walsh ( born August 15, 1978 in Santa Clara, California ) is a professional American beach volleyball player. The 1.91 meter tall Walsh won 2004, 2008 and 2012 Olympic victory with her partner Misty May- Treanor. Together with May- Treanor they also won three times the FIVB World Championship and was successful between 2007 and 2008 in 112 consecutive tournament games. She is considered one of the most successful beach volleyball players in the history.

Career

Walsh began her career at Stanford University and initially played volleyball in the hall. Private life

Walsh is the daughter of Margie and Tim Walsh and has two younger sisters, Kelli and KC, as well as an older brother named Marte. Her father was once a baseball player, and her mother a two-time MVP ( Most Valuable Player ) in volleyball in Santa Clara. Walsh married on December 4, 2005 Casey Jennings, who is also a professional beach volleyball player. She has a degree in American Studies from Stanford University.
