Renate Hoy
Renate Hoy (actually Renate Huy Anita, born December 31, 1930 in Ludwigshafen, Germany) is a German beauty queen and actress of the 1950s.
In 1952 she was named in Baden -Baden to Miss Germany and took in the summer of the same year participated in the Miss Universe, where she reached the final ( 5th place).
Subsequently, she remained in the United States, signed a movie contract with Universal film studios and filmed several movies. She married in the 1950s, the actor Brett Halsey, with whom she had two children: rock Halsey and Tracy Leigh Simpson. On February 26, 1960, she became an American citizen. After her divorce Renate Hoy married a prominent lawyer from Long Beach, Raymond C. Simpson, who specializes in civil rights of the natives. The couple had one child, Richard James Simpson.
