Renato Cappellini

Renato Cappellini ( born October 9, 1943 in Soncino ) is a retired Italian footballer.

Cappellini comes from the offspring of Inter Milan. As a nineteen debuted the striker in 1963 under coach Helenio Herrera, but could not prevail in the famous team at first and was awarded for one year at the Genoa.

From 1963 to 1968 Cappellini completed 65 missions for Inter and scored 22 goals. In 1966, he was with Inter Italian masters. Peak of his career at Inter in 1967 was the final of the European Champions Cup in Lisbon, where Inter against Celtic Glasgow defeated 1:2. Cappellini was then honored as the best U-23 players.

Starting in 1968, played for AS Varese Cappellini, Roma, Como Calcio and FC Chiasso. In 1977 he ended his sports career.

Two games played Cappellini in 1967 for the Italian national team - against Cyprus and Portugal - where he scored the equalizing goal in the latter game.
