Renato Jurčec

Renato Jurcec ( born June 4, 1966 in Laduč, SFR Yugoslavia ) is a former Croatian football player.

The striker managed as the only football players in the first eleven seasons of the first HNL at least one score. Overall, he scored 87 goals in the highest Croatian league and was three times champion and Cup winner three times in Croatia.

Playing career

1990/91 Jurcec was a regular for NK Zagreb in the second Yugoslav league. With the establishment of the first HNL he played in Croatia's top tier, first for NK Zagreb and later for Inker Zaprešić, then won with Hajduk Split in 1995, the Double and played in the UEFA Champions League 1994/95 in the quarterfinals against Ajax Amsterdam. After his move to Croatia Zagreb could the Double in 1997 and 1998 repeated each time. After one season at Cibalia Vinkovci he later played with Slaven Belupo in the Intertoto Cup. Once again he was under contract with Inter Zaprešić 2002/ 03, he left his career with the club unterklassigen Maksimir Zagreb finish.

Coaching career

His first coach took office Jurcec after three games of the season 2007 /08 with his hometown club NK Laduč, where he was released at the start of the following season in August 2008.
