René Dereuddre

René Dereuddre ( born June 22, 1930 in Bully- les -Mines, † April 16, 2008 in Le Mans) was a French football player.

Club career

Dereuddre started with the game of football as a teenager with Étoile Sportive de Bully, the club of his hometown near Lens. During this time he played together with Raymond Kopa and Jean Vincent in the north of France, Junior Regional selection. With 20 of the attack-minded midfielder moved to CO Roubaix - Tourcoing, in which he played three years. In 1953 he went to Toulouse, with whom he celebrated in 1955, the runner-up and 1957 Cup winner was. In the final game, the Toulouse 6-3 win against SCO Angers, the two hit move to temporary 2-0 lead him.

In 1957 he returned to the vicinity of his birthplace back to RC Lens. In his years at Lens, he scored six goals in 30 league operations. National

From 1954 to 1957 was six times Dereuddre used in the Équipe Tricolore. He scored a goal.

He made his debut on May 30, 1954 in the 3-3 draw against Belgium. He then was part of the French squad at the 1954 World Cup in Switzerland, where he was employed in both games. Only four months later he was in the team, the reigning world champions Germany in Hannover defeated on October 16, 1954, 3:1. At the 1958 World Cup he was still playing only in qualifying. His last game for the Bleus he made it on June 2, 1957 against Iceland. In the 8-0 victory, he scored his only goal for his country.
