René Jørgensen
René Jørgensen ( born July 26, 1975 in Herning ) is a former Danish racing cyclist.
René Jørgensen started his career in 1998 with the cycling team Home - Jack & Jones, who later became Team CSC. In 2002 he moved to EDS Fakta where he continued for two years until the dissolution of the team. In his first season there, he won the race in Herning Gadelob. In 2004 he drove for Alessio - Bianchi, which dissolved at the end of the season. In 2005 he moved to the UK Professional Continental team Barloworld Valsir. He was, among others, third in GP Aarhus and once Second stage at the Tour of Qinghai Lake. Since 2006, Jørgensen goes for the Danish Continental Team Designa Køkken.
End of the 2012 season he announced that he will end his career.
