Renée Saint-Cyr

Renée Saint- Cyr ( born November 16, 1904 in Beausoleil, Alpes- Maritimes, France; † 11 July 2004 in Neuilly -sur -Seine, actually Marie -Louise Vittore ) was a French actress.

As the daughter of an opera singer, she began her artistic career as a singer and also won a first prize at the Conservatory of Marseille. In the early 1930s, she turned to the film. At the height of her career from 1932 to 1943 they played numerous leading roles. Later, she was rather busy in supporting roles as a mature and distinguished lady. She was the mother of the director Georges Lautner and played in 10 of his films. In Jean -Michel Ribes ' TV series Palace, they appeared regularly in the role of a swashbuckling " guardian of good taste " on.
