Resorte ( Spanish for " driving force " ) is a Mexican heavy metal band.
Band History
The band from Ciudad Satélite succeeded soon after its founding in 1995, with their heavy, bass-heavy rhythms and direct lyrics to develop a fan base. After her was played on MTV independently made video to America, her debut single, the band was able to engage the Living Colour guitarist Vernon Reid, as producers of their first album, entitled República de ciegos ( in German: Republic of the Blind, 1997 ) received. Both the first single and the album, characterized by heavy guitar riffs and politically charged lyrics, joined in the success of their early live performances directly, further appearances in several Latin American countries followed with groups like Green Day.
With Jason Roberts as a producer and a new bassist, they developed in 1999 in Los Angeles their second album, XL. Roberts After its release, the group went on tour in Mexico, the USA and other cities in Latin America, while Caliente, a cogeneration, MTV Latino's top reached 20. Later they played as support for U.S. bands like Limp Bizkit during their visits to Mexico. In 2000, she published Versión 3.0, a B-side EP.
After changing to the occupation and the label, the band released in 2002 their last studio album to date, rebota (F = kx ), which was re- recorded in North Hollywood by Jason Roberts. Subsequently, the band retreated largely. For 2012, a new album was announced.
