Richard Armstedt

Richard Armstedt (* November 10, 1851 Osterburg ( Altmark), † April 14, 1931 in Königsberg ( Prussia) ) was a German philologist and teacher.

Armstedt 1885 at the Eberhard -Karls- University of Tübingen Dr. phil. doctorate. In 1886 he became senior teacher at Altstädtischer Gymnasium in Königsberg. From 1900 to 1921 he was director of the Kneiphof school. His work deals mainly with the history of East Prussia. As a member and chairman of Grand Master of the Masonic Lodge Königsberg "For the death's head and Phoenix " he wrote their history.
