Richard C. Dorf

Richard C. Dorf ( * December 27, 1933 in Bronx, New York City ) is an American engineer scientist, university teacher and an author.

Life

He received a Bachelor of Clarkson University, the master he took at the University of Colorado and his Ph.D. he was at the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School.

Village has been nominated for his contributions to engineering education and lifelong control theory as a Fellow of the IEEE, and is a member of the American Society for Engineering Education.

Professor village researches and teaches control circuits, robotics, energy systems, technology management, entrepreneurship, innovation management, nonprofit management, young business management, venture capital management, and technology policy. He is also a consultant in the engineering business creation, and also runs courses in this field by.

Village is also a profilitierter author and publisher. He has authored 30 books, including some standard manuals and textbooks on engineering. His latest novel is called Technology Ventures: From Ideas to Enterprise and was created together with Professor Thomas Byers of Stanford University; in this textbook is the first time the global phenomenon of " technological entrepreneurship " investigated.
