Richard Dutruel

Richard Dutruel ( born December 24, 1972 in Thonon -les- Bains ) is a French former football player.

Career

Dutruel began his career at Paris Saint- Germain. After serving in the 1991/92 season his first four league games for Paris denied and then he even did not play in the season, he was loaned from 1993 to 1995 in Caen. During his time at Caen he was the first goalkeeper, but when he returned to Paris in 1995, he did not come back past Bernard Lama. When Paris in the 1995/96 season won the European Cup Winners' Cup, he could only six league games contest. After that season, he left Paris for Spain and moved to Celta Vigo. In Celta Vigo Dutruel experienced probably its most successful period and was División one of the best goalkeepers in La Liga.

Followed in 2000, first in the summer of transfer to FC Barcelona and on 4 October this year his only international cap for France. However, even before he arrived in Barcelona, ​​was the one who einfädelte his transfer to FC Barcelona, including Louis van Gaal, already dismissed. He played in the 2003/04 season regularly for Racing Strasbourg and completed a game for the B- team of the club, in the following season, he could not play because of a back injury and ended his career in 2005.
