Richard Edson

Richard Edson ( born January 1, 1954 in New Rochelle, New York, USA) is an American actor and musician.

Edson was born in New Rochelle, New York. From 1981 to 1982 he was the drummer of the band Sonic Youth in the original cast in the same period in the band Konk. After Sonic Youth debuted with their eponymous EP, he left the band to full-time standard on Konk 's keep playing. Richard also played horn and trumpet for the band The Offs from San Francisco, where he can be heard on their 1984 album The Offs First Record erschienenem. In 1984 he ended his music career to start as an actor, where he debut as a performer of his Eddie in Jim Jarmusch 's film Stranger than Paradise is. Appearances on television series, he had, among other things in Pete & Pete and Homicide. 2003 Edson was seen in the music video for the title of the band Cave In Anchor, where he plays the central character in the video, a depressed man running along the streets, and his feet are wrapped in cement blocks.
