Richard Harrison (actor)

Richard Harrison ( born May 26, 1935 in Salt Lake City, Utah ) is an American actor.

Life

Harrison retired in the early 1950s to California, where his good looks and his work have taken him as a bodybuilder on various titles pictures of well-known magazines. In Santa Monica, he began as an actor on small stages and on television. Soon - helpful was his marriage to the daughter of film producer James H. Nicholson - followed by smaller roles in Hollywood productions. After a few years he moved his activities to Italy, where he lead roles were offered in sandals films and he developed into a smaller star so quickly.

He did not commit to a genre, appearing in spaghetti westerns as well as in agent and war movies. After the Italian film production fell mid-1980s into a serious crisis, Harrison turned in Hong Kong several low-budget action movies with Godfrey Ho, most of ninja movies were, but in the so-called cut-and- paste method from existing films with neugedrehten scenes cut together and were re-synchronized. Harrison blamed mainly Ho and his production methods, as well as the frequent reuse of the rotated with it scenes of the decline of his career. Overall, Harrison played in 111 films.

Richard Harrison was married twice; from his first marriage were born three children from his ongoing since 1978, second another. Meanwhile Harrison has retired from the film business and lives in California.
