Richard Lyle

Richard Lyle ( born June 12, 1950 in Bothwellhaugh ) is a Scottish politician and member of the Scottish National Party ( SNP).

Lyle attended the Lawmuir School and Bellshill Academy. In 1966 he joined the SNP since 1976 member of the Council of the District Motherwell. He worked at the Royal Bank of Scotland in the credit system.

The Scottish Parliament election 2011 candidate Lyle for the newly created constituency Uddingston and Bellshill, but could not prevail against Michael McMahon of the Labour Party itself. On the basis of the election results, he moved through the Regional Evaluation of the SNP for the election Region Central Scotland in the Parliament.
