Richard Shepard
Richard Shepard (born 1965 in New York City ) is an American film and television director, who is known for his black comedies. For many of his productions he also wrote the screenplay.
He abandoned his studies at the New York Film School. Shepard won the 2007 Emmy Award and the Directors Guild of America Award for the pilot of Ugly Betty. Since 2012 he turns Dom Hemingway with Jew Law in the title role, producer Jeremy Thomas.
