Richtweg (Hamburg U-Bahn station)

The metro station is a short cut of the three stations of the Hamburg U -Bahn in the field of city of Norderstedt. It was opened in September 1996 as part of the extension of the line U1 to Norderstedt Mitte. Earlier, at approximately the same location of the breakpoint Richtweg the Alster Northern Railway. Their facilities have been removed in this area after the subway extension.

The station Richtweg heard how the associated route, the transport company Norderstedt ( VGN ), a subsidiary of Stadtwerke Norderstedt.

Location

The station is located in the largest district of Norderstedt Garstedt, approximately at the location of the same holding point of the Alster Northern Railway, which ran along here until 1996. It is located on ground level and has two 120 m long side platforms. The only entrance is on the north side. The connection of the two platforms is via a bridge over the subway tracks, in which there are some technical rooms. By connecting ramps to bridge the station is barrier-free.
