Metro Station Klosterstern is a tunnel station of Hamburg U -Bahn in Harvestehude district beneath the square Klosterstern, after whom it is named. It was opened in 1929 as part of the KellJung - line and is today operated by the U1 line. The station is located partly in a curve. The station was built by the architect Walter Puritz. The abbreviation of the operating company Hamburg elevated railway is KR.

Construction and location

The central platform of the subway station is located in two low position ( level 2 ) and extends approximately in the north- south direction under the eponymous roundabout.
