Ricki Osterthun

Ricki Easter tuna ( born 2 May 1964 in Hamburg ) is a former German tennis player.

Life

Ricki Easter Thun to win a single tournament and three doubles tournaments in his professional career in the ATP World Tour and reached number 58 in 1987 with his highest placing in the ATP world rankings.

In 1985, he won the individual title at the Dutch Open in Hilversum in five sets against the Swedes Kent Carlsson. The following year, he reached the final of the ATP tournament in Munich, in which he defeated Emilio Sánchez Vicario. In 1987 he reached the final in Toulouse, Tim Mayotte decided for themselves. At the Grand Slam tournament in Paris in 1987, he reached the second round. In doubles, he won in 1987 in Athens at the side of Tore Meinecke, 1988 in Toulouse with Tom Nijssen and 1989 in Nice with Udo Riglewski.

In 1986 and 1987 he was a member of the German Davis Cup team. In the quarter-final victory over the United States in 1987 in Hartford, he lost the double on the side of Eric Jelen against Ken Flach and Robert Seguso in three sets.

After the end of his professional career Ricki Easter tuna was active for many years in sports marketing. Since 2005 he has worked as a manager in the real estate industry.

He is married to Christiane Easter tuna since 1997 and has two children.
