Right Now (Atomic Kitten song)

November 29, 1999

Right Now is the debut song by the British pop girl group Atomic Kitten. The song is also listed first in her debut album of the same name. From Right Now, there are two versions, as the band member Kerry Katona, was replaced because of her pregnancy, in the summer of 2001 by the former Precious singer Jenny Frost.

The 2004 version

As Atomic Kitten in 2004 took a break, they released an updated version of the title on the single Someone Like Me as a " parting gift " for their fans. Right Now 2004 was never released on an album. Someone like Me on the other hand appeared on Atomic Kitten 's third album Ladies Night. Right Now in 2004 differs significantly from its 1999's original. So the version is more dance -oriented.

Music Video

In the music video for Right Now 2004 Video recordings from the band's history are displayed. In the final sequence we see how McClarnon, Hamilton and Frost go up an escalator while waving at the camera. This scene is in black and white and will post haste eclipsed by a text in English:

" Many thanks to all our wonderful fans who have supported us during all these years. Without you we would not have achieved all that. We love you all! See you soon ... "
