Riker Electric Vehicle Company

The Riker Electric Motor Company (1896-1899) was an American manufacturer of electric cars, which had been founded in 1896 by automotive pioneer Andrew L. Riker in Brooklyn, New York.

1899 Riker moved the company headquarters to Port Elizabeth, New Jersey and renamed the company into Riker Electric Vehicle Company.

In 1900 he baptized the company into Riker Motor Vehicle Company. The auto companies had advanced to a leading manufacturer of electric cars in the U.S. and offered this under the brand name Riker car in the designs Tricycle ( tricycle ), Runabout, Phaeton, Surrey, Victoria, Demi coach, Brougham to, and there built the minibus coach station, post office and vans.

1902, the company went on in the Electric Vehicle Company.
