Rilly-sur-Aisne

Rilly -sur -Aisne is a commune of 109 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the Ardennes department in the Champagne- Ardenne region.

Geography

The village lies on the banks of the river Aisne and the parallel to the river running Canal des Ardennes. Just upstream of the village branches off a twelve- kilometer long branch canal that leads to the city Vouziers. The other route is via a lock staircase to the watershed of Le Chesne and down into the valley of the Meuse.
