Rita Grande

Rita Grande ( born March 23, 1975 in Naples ) is a former Italian tennis player.

Career

Rita Grande began playing at the age of nine years of tennis and was supervised by her brother Vincenzo.

In her career she won a total of three singles and five doubles titles on the WTA Tour, will also lead you to a level ITF tournament victory in singles and three hits in doubles.

For the Italian Fed Cup team they played 19 games between 1994 and 2003; their record: five wins in eight defeats in singles, one win and five defeats in doubles.

In 1996, Grande at the Olympic Games in Atlanta. In 2004, she was standing at the Australian Open in the semifinals of the mixed competition.

Her last professional match they played in August 2005 at the hard court tournament in New Haven, as she failed to Kveta Peschke in the qualification.
