Alexandra Fusai

Alexandra Fusai ( born November 22, 1973 in Saint- Cloud) is a former French tennis player.

Career

Fusai began at the age of nine with the sport of tennis.

In her professional career, she won on the WTA Tour doubles title a total of twelve. There were six single and two doubles titles on ITF level.

Your greatest achievements came at the French Open, where she reached the semifinals in doubles in 1997, 1999 and 2000. Also at the other Grand Slam tournaments she was able to score in the doubles competition. In September 1998 she reached her highest position in the double world ranking with space 6.

1997 won Fusai with the French team the Fed Cup. For the Fed Cup team, she won six of their eight games.

On July 13, 2002, she married David Crochu. Their first son Oscar was born on 7 December 2003. Her last professional match played Fusai in April 2003 at the WTA tournament in Budapest.
