Rita Rocks

Rita Rockt is an American sitcom which premiered on October 20, 2008 on Lifetime Premiere. The German premiere was on display from 29 October 2010 to VOX in the night program 4-6 clock. Since April 2011, the series was also broadcast on ORF one. Due to lack of quota production of the series was canceled after two seasons.

Action

Rita is not only a highly stressed mother and wife from Detroit, but also still works part-time in a job they do not particularly like. After she finds her old guitar in the garage, she decides, along with her neighbor Owen, the letter carrier Patty and her daughter's boyfriend Kip to start a garage band. But that means even more stress! Rita tries to get a job and family under one roof and slides so by a chaos into the next.

Cast and Crew

  • Rita Clemens (Nicole Sullivan ): Rita Clemens is a hard working mother and the middle of the midlife crisis. Even though she would never admit it myself. She is the leader of their garage band and incidentally Assistant Manager at Bed Bath & Max
  • Jay Clemens ( Richard Ruccolo ): Jay is Rita's husband and he gives his best to Rita and her band support. Like Rita, he stumbles from one faux pas to the next.
  • Patty Mannix ( Tisha Campbell - Martin): Patty works at the post and is Rita's best friend. She has brought this back to playing guitar Rita, which eventually led to the founding of the band.
  • Hallie Clemens (Natalie Dreyfuss ): Rita's absent-minded and rebellious daughter. She also works at Bed Bath & Max and is constantly sending SMS from their mobile phone.
  • Shannon Clemens (Kelly Gould ): Rita's nine years old daughter. She goes to a school for gifted children and dreams of Space Camp and it to be an astronaut.
  • Kip ( Ricky Ullman ): His real name is Skip; He is Hallie's boyfriend and drummer in Rita's band. His parents are separated
  • Max: Rita & Jay's new baby. He comes in the Season 2 finale, " Born In The USA". to the world.

  • Owen Delgado Jr. ( Ian Gomez): Owen is Rita's neighbor and worked as a bassist in their garage band.
  • Audrey ( Lauren Bowles ): Owens wife and mother of his two children. She loves her job more than her husband.
  • Chuck ( Duane Martin): Rita's new neighbor. Chuck used to be baseball players.
  • Marilyn ( Swoosie Kurtz ): Rita's mother, who comes in four episodes to visit.
  • Rusty (Paul Vato ): Rusty is the owner of the bowling alley, in Rita's band for the first time played live.
