River Finn

The River Finn ( Irish Abhainn na Finne ) is a river in County Donegal in the northwest of the Republic of Ireland.

The Finn rises in the west of Donegal from Lough Finn and flows in an easterly direction through the county, to unite in Lifford and Strabane with the coming of the south-east of the County Tyrone and Mourne together to form the River Foyle. Here, the Finn is below Clady the border between the counties Donegal and Tyrone, and thus between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

At the eastern end of the traversed by Finn in Donegal Finn Valley, Lifford; flows before the Finn through the Twin Cities Stranorlar and Ballybofey and gives the football club " Finn Harps FC" in Ballybofey his name.
