Roads in Belarus
The road network in Belarus is in its systematization in following the road network of the Soviet Union. The most important category of road is marked with an M for highway as well as a number. The next category is denoted by a P and a number. It does not distinguish between simple trunk roads and motorways in the numbering. The highways go star-shaped from the center of Minsk, the main trunk road connects as part of the long-distance road Berlin - Moscow ( European Route 30) in the Belarusian section of Brest via Minsk and Orsha with the Russian border. Since July 1, 2013 they are partial toll road.
