Robbie Brace

Robert Leon Brace ( born December 19, 1964 in Edmonton, London ) is an English former footballer who spent the majority of his career in the southwest of Germany.

Career

Brace received in December 1982, a professional contract with Tottenham Hotspur after he had gone through the youth teams of the club. At his only duty stake for Spurs striker came on 7 May 1984 as a substitute against Southampton FC. The match took place a few days before the final leg of the UEFA Cup against RSC Anderlecht coach Keith Burkinshaw and place set for the minor league game many players on supplements. The game ended with a 0-5 defeat and the club was sentenced to a fine. Only a few weeks after this operation Brace was cleared and switched to the Belgian first division club Waterschei Thor Genk.

After a year at Genk, he joined shortly after the start of the 1985/86 season to the Dutch second division club De Graafschap, for whom he scored eleven goals in 27 missions. He then continued his career in the German second division club 1.FC Saarbrücken. His debut on matchday 7 against KSV Hessen Kassel was terminated for Brace after a short time. On as a substitute in the 42nd minute for the injured Guido Szesni, he saw in the 52nd minute red card after he had nachgetreten against Karl -Heinz Neukirch. After his suspension he contributed to the three wins the match day 12 to 14, each with one hit. After 26 missions and seven goals in his first season at Saarbrücken, he was only a reserve player in the season 1987/88 and came with 14 of his 18 league games (2 goals ) only as a substitute to train.

He then started to put his career in the southwest German regional football continued and played for FK Pirmasens (1988-1990), Eintracht Trier (90/ 91) TuS Koblenz (1992-1996), the SpVgg EGC Wirges (1996-2000) and also had a six-month stint with the Eisbachtaler Sports friends ( 1997). Today he has been training for seven years TuS Immendorf in the football league district, then advance to the SG 2000 Mülheim- Kärlich and SV Niederwerth. Since 1992 he plays in the celebrity team Lottoelf with former world champions and league stars.
