Robert Farmer (ice hockey)

Robert Farmer ( born March 21, 1991, Nottingham, England ) is a British ice hockey player standing since 2012 when the Alaska Aces in the ECHL under contract.

Career

Robert Farmer began his career as a hockey player at the 2002 Nottingham Cougars, a youth team from his hometown. At 14, he moved to Sheffield, where he played in various youth teams. Already in the 2005 /06 gave the striker but also his business card at senior level from when he took both for the Sheffield Scimitars in the third-tier English Premier Ice Hockey League and for the Sheffield Spartans in unterklassigen English National League.

His debut in the Elite Ice Hockey League, the highest British league, he was in the 2009 /10, the Sheffield Steelers, who had become the British Champion in the two previous years. With the team from Yorkshire he finished the IIHF Continental Cup 2009/10 behind the EC Red Bull Salzburg and HK Junost Minsk third place. From there he moved a year later to the Ottawa 67 's in the Ontario Hockey League. The Canadians, however, he could not prevail, and only came to a single use, which is why he was still in the same season went back to the Elite Ice Hockey League and signed a contract with the Coventry Blaze signed. There he was a total of 114 games in which he scored 40 goals in two Jahrenauf. In 2012 he moved to the Scottish Renfrewshire to the Braehead Clan. But a year later, he returned to North America and has performed since then in Anchorage at the Alaska Aces in the ECHL.

Internationally
