Robert Mohr (rugby)

Robert Mohr ( born May 25, 1978 in Hannover ) is a German rugby union player. He is one of the few German actors in this team sport, who worked in a foreign professional league.

Career

In his early years, Robert Mohr played in his hometown of Hanover. At the age of 20 he came to France in 1999 and played from there in Bourgoin. During this time he also participated as a team member of the prestigious Heineken Cup.

Until the 2011/12 season Mohr played for the French second division club Atlantique Stade Rochelais, in which he also served as team captain. In the 2009/10 season Mohr also succeeded with his club promotion to the French Top 14

In summer 2012, Mohr came for the French third division side Stade Niortais used, then he returned for a farewell game to La Rochelle. Since autumn 2013, the second- row players playing again for his old home club DSV Hannover 78

Besides his activities as a club player Robert Mohr ran until 2013 for the German national team, and participated in the 2009 also for Germany at the Hannover Sevens part.
