Robert Wagner

Robert John Wagner ( born February 10, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan) is an American film and television actor.

Life and career

Wagner played from the 1950s, major and minor roles, beginning especially in adventure and western films. He achieved fame for his role of George Litton in The Pink Panther (1963) and Curse of the Pink Panther (1983 ) and by the disaster movie The Towering Inferno. Known to a wider television audience was Wagner in the 1960s by the television series It Takes a Thief ( It Takes a Thief ), and later in the role of the millionaire and amateur detective Jonathan Hart. From the television series Hart to Hart, who acted in his side Stefanie Powers, eight television films were produced feature-length later. Wagner embodied also number 2 in the three films of the Austin Powers trilogy. In 2006 he made ​​a guest appearance in the finale of the second season of Justice series Boston Legal, where he played the office manager of the law firm " Crane, Poole & Schmidt " in Los Angeles.

Wagner was twice married to actress Natalie Wood, from 1957 to 1962 and from 1972 until her death in 1981 (Wood drowned during a boat tour on the next Wagner and her fellow actors from Brainstorm, Christopher Walken, took part ).

Wagner is married to actress Jill St. John since 1990 and has three daughters, two biological and adoptive daughter Natasha Gregson Wagner, a daughter of Natalie Wood from another relationship.
