Roberto Perfumo

Roberto Alfredo Perfumo ( born October 3, 1942 in Sarandi, Buenos Aires, Argentina ) is a former Argentine footballer.

The central defender Perfumo played from 1962 to 1970 with Racing Club Avellaneda. In 1964 he made ​​his debut in the Argentine national football team and was part of Argentina's squad at the World Cup 1966 in England. Here he reached the quarter-finals and participated in all meetings of his team. In 1971 he joined the Brazilian club Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte and participated in the World Cup 1974 in Germany part. After the World Cup, he returned to Argentina to River Plate, where he ended his career in 1978.
