Career

In the club

Silva began his career in 1997 with Alianza Lima and went there together with Claudio Pizarro on Torjagd. After his departure to Werder Bremen in 1999 and Silva joined the club and was loaned for a year at Sporting Cristal, who committed him about it too. Until 2001 he remained loyal to the club before he moved to Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga. There, the striker described as header Stark should compensate for the departure of his countryman and former teammate Claudio Pizarro. But Silva could not prevail in Bremen and completed only seven competitive games in which he was always loaded. He then spent two years abroad, before he returned to Alianza Lima in 2004. With the Torneo Apertura Alianza he could win and defend them in the next year with the Club Sportivo Cienciano. After that he went to Mexico for a short time, but then came back to Cienciano and went from there back to Alianza Lima. In Lima he was again national champions, but left the club after a season and moved to his current club Universidad San Martín de Porres. In San Martín, he defended the national champion title twice in a row. In the meantime, he went to Ecuador for a season and then returned and was with Universidad for the third time national champion.

In the National Team

For the Peruvian national football team Silva was eleven times on the court, which reach two goals to him. At a World Cup or the Copa America he has never participated with Peru.
