Robin Backhaus (German swimmer)

Robin Backhaus ( born June 15, 1989 in Berlin ) is a German swimmer.

Backhaus won the 2007 silver in the 4 x 200 - meter freestyle relay at the European Junior Championships. Even in the adult area, he was successful with the long season, as he along with Paul Biedermann, Tim Wall Burger and Clemens Rapp won the silver medal at the European Swimming Championships 2010 in Budapest. In the Military World Championships 2010, he won gold with the long season and silver in the sprint relay.

The 1.88 m wide Backhaus floats since 1995 for the SG Neukölln Berlin, he is sporting a soldier.
