Robin Backhaus

Robin James Backhaus ( born February 12, 1955 in Lincoln ) is a retired American swimmer.

At the Olympic Games in Munich in 1972, he won the bronze in the 200m butterfly. In 1973, he became the first world champion over 200 m butterfly.
