Robin Donovan

Robin Donovan ( born December 19, 1955) is a former British racing driver.

Career

Donovan was especially in sports car racing and active in his long career, 14 times in the 24- hour race at Le Mans at the start. He made his debut in 1986 for the small British Bartlett team that implemented a Bardon DB1 with Cosworth V8 engine. The team led by Donovan was not considered due to insufficient distance at the end of the race. His first placement he reached in 1988 when he finished 25th overall for the team of Norwegian rallycross European Champion Martin Schanche. He was in the Porsche 962 Kremer Racing eleventh in 1992 and 1994, he achieved his best result, when he was in sixth overall in the Kremer K8 Spyder.

His last start at the Sarthe ended in 2001 with a Porsche 911 GT3 after an accident after 44 laps early.
