Robinson (crater)

Robinson is a small crater in the northwest of the lunar south-west front of the wall plane of the J. Herschel at the northern edge of Mare Frigoris. To the east is the small crater Horrebow. The rim is only slightly eroded.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Irish astronomer Thomas Romney Robinson.
