Rockpile AVA

Rockpile AVA ( recognized since 28 February 2002) is an American Viticultural Area in the U.S. state of California and is part of the larger areas of Dry Creek Valley AVA, North Coast AVA and Northern Sonoma AVA. The area is located in the northwestern part of the administrative area in Sonoma County, northwest of the municipality of Healdsburg. Rockpile AVA was Sonoma County's twelfth recognized appellation.

The vineyards of the eleven previously created individual layers are at least 240 m above sea level. NN.
