Reviews

"The result is a visually unsatisfactory, word -heavy film, in which the author Stallone Stallone wrote the actor a role in the muscle-bound body that it can only fill in a few moments. [ ... ] Since the Boxszenen even have fallen completely unsatisfactory, is to be hoped that, Rocky V ', in fact, marks the end of the series. However, it is to be feared that Stallone will not let the created by him figure disappear into the social irrelevance; perhaps there is but a comeback. "

" From the ashes is ascending by many Rückzugen, Rocky V ' just a sloppy, but good-natured reminder of what Rocky Balboa has held for 14 years on the water."

" Unsatisfactory continuation of the Boxer Saga, dialogue -heavy and wooden staged, full dramaturgical weaknesses, even in the Boxszenen boring. "

" The only good thing you can say about 'Rocky V' is that Stallone at least has the sense to throw in the towel. "
