Rocles, Ardèche
Rocles is a commune with 249 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Ardèche.
Geography
Rocles is located on a ridge northwest of Largentière. To the west lies the valley of Beaune and to the east lies the valley of Ligne. The highest mountain in the municipality is the 1207 meter high Cham du Cros. Rocles located 42 kilometers northwest of the town of Montelimar. From Largentière is Rocles zwälf, ten kilometers from Valgorge. The community mainly comprises 16 hamlets. In addition to the village belong to barber, Bouteillac, Champussac, La Croix, Le Jal, Leyval, Nouzaret, La Parot, Le Perrier, Rubac, Salavert, Salindre, La Sauvette, Le Thyt and Le Vernet.
