Rod Cameron (actor)

Rod Cameron ( born December 7, 1910 in Calgary, Alberta, † December 21, 1983 in Gainesville (Georgia ); born Nathan Roderick Cox ) was a Canadian actor.

Life

Cameron lived since 1930 in the United States and worked as a construction worker in the sewers of Los Angeles. There he established as a stuntman and double first contacts with Paramount Pictures. From 1939, he received small roles in American Western. 1943 succeeded the 1.96 -meter giant breakthrough for lead actor in the form of Rex Bennett in Haruschi, son of Dr. Fu Man as he stood Chu ( G-men vs. The Black Dragon) at Republic Pictures under contract. Cameron caused a stir by his private life when he divorced his wife Angela Alves - Lico to marry their mother Dorothy. He dedicated a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
