Rod Pampling

Rodney " Rod" Pampling ( born September 23, 1969 in Redcliffe, Queensland) is an Australian professional golfer.

He was professional golfer in 1994 and began his career on the PGA Tour of Australasia, where Pampling in 1999 won his first tournament. In the seasons 2000 and 2001 he played on the second lined up, North American Buy.com Tour and qualified for the PGA TOUR. In 2004 he celebrated there his first tournament victory at The International and won in 2006 at the Bay Hill Invitational his second title.

Pampling plays in the Australian summer continues on some events of the PGA Tour of Australasia. In the golf world rankings, he is usually in the top 50, which guarantees him invitations to the big tournaments.

He is with his wife Angela, a psychologist, is married and resides in Flower Mound, Texas.
