Rodney Crowell

Rodney Crowell ( born August 7, 1950 in Houston, Texas) is an American country singer, songwriter and producer.

Rodney Crowell comes from a family with a long musical tradition. He began at age 11 as a drummer in his father's band. In high school, he formed his own group, the Arbitrators. In 1972, he broke off his college studies and moved to Nashville. With appearances in local clubs he was making more bad than good for a living.
