Roger Joseph Foys ( born July 27, 1945 in Chicago, USA), Bishop of Covington.

Life

Roger Joseph Foys received on 16 May 1973, the sacrament of Holy Orders for the Diocese of Steubenville.

On 31 May 2002, Pope John Paul II appointed Bishop of Covington. The Archbishop of Louisville, Thomas Cajetan Kelly OP, gave him on 15 July of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were Bishop Emeritus of Steubenville, Gilbert Ignatius Sheldon, and the Bishop of Baton Rouge, Robert William Muench.
