Rohle

Rohle is a municipality with 653 inhabitants ( 28 August 2006) in the Czech Republic. It is 12 km northeast of Mohelnice and belongs to the Okres Šumperk to.

Geography

Surrounded by mountains located in 337 m asl in the valley of Rohelnice and several small tributaries right. Neighboring towns are Strupšín in the north, Benkov in the northeast, and Nedvězí Kamenná in the east, in the southeast Lipinka, Veleboř in the south, as well as Bezděkov u Usova and Janoslavice in the southwest

History

The first mention of Rohle dates from the year 1356. The place belonged partly to rule the High city and other part to the castle Brníčko. From the 16th century until the abolition of patrimonial regimes in 1850 then Rohle was subservient total of Hohen by city.

In 1904, the village Svinov / pig was renamed to distinguish it from the same village in Pavlov in Janoslavice. In 1976, the neighboring villages and Janoslavice Nedvězí were incorporated.
