Roland Bader

Roland Bader ( born August 24, 1938 in Wangen im Allgäu) is a German conductor.

Life

Roland Bader studied one semester Church Music in Rottenburg am Neckar, graduated from the so-called C- test for organists and then moved to the Musikhochschule in Stuttgart, where he organ ( Nowakowski ), piano ( Lautner ), Viola ( Kessinger ) and composition ( Joh.Nep. David ) studied. Hans horns, 1958-65 principal conductor of the Stuttgart Philharmonic, trained him in lessons at the conductor.

After his training with final exam A in church music Bader devoted himself as a choirmaster and organist of the church music and the great oratorios and symphonic music. Bader was a full-time church musician in Böblingen ( 1960-67 ) and Ludwigsburg ( 1967-70 ).

He was also known for his LP and CD recordings of works by Leopold Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart ( The Obligation of the First Commandment ), Franz Xaver Wolfgang Mozart ( Piano Concertos ), Friedrich Kiel ( Star of Bethlehem ), Max Bruch (show), Max Reger 's Requiem, Latin Requiem, Op 145a, Dies Irae, ETA Hoffmann. ( Opera Undine and Miserere ), Otto Nicolai (Te Deum ), Richard Wetz ( Symphony No. 1 ), Bacewicz ( Symphony No. 3), Henryk Mikołaj Górecki ( Symphony No. 1 ), Stanisław Moniuszko ( opera overtures ) Boris Ljatoschinskij ( symphonies Nos. 4 and 5), and others.

Three years he was a summer school - conductor at the North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston- Salem. Roland Bader is at the Toho Academy of Music in Japan since 1988 Visiting Professor.
