Rollag Stave Church

The Rollag Stave Church is a Norwegian stave church and is located about 50 kilometers northeast of Kongsberg in Rollag in the province Buskerud near the river Lågen.

First mentioned it was in 1425. It was in the 17th and 18th century heavily rebuilt and has only the main structure of Saumdielen, sun rods, corner rods and part of the wall boards from the Middle Ages. Originally it had a portico.

The church was painted in the 17th century and provided with benches; she received a rococo pulpit in the 18th century.
